For the first time – at least to our knowledge – and within the last decade, even after many more years of activism, a leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar of one of the main Political Parties has openly announced intention to recognise and include members of the LGBT+ community.
This is a welcomed first step.
We look forward to having discussions with the UNC – United National Congress in short order. It shows that you are waking up!
